Goodline is in the business of steel fabrication, construction and maintenance.
It undertakes a range of work procedures, the locations of which are sometimes
in sensitive environments. The nature of the company’s activities may lead to
the disturbance of both physical and human environments, within and outside the
project site.
It is the policy of Goodline to control these effects and to ensure that the
requirements of the projects specifications and applicable legislation,
regulations and other policy requirements are met as a minimum, through the
implementation of an Environmental Management System.
Not withstanding that the requirements of legislation shall be met, Goodline has
accepted the challenge and is committed to continually improving the way in
which it conducts its activities and the outcomes of these activities, including
the environment. It is a requirement of the company that environmental
objectives shall be set for all projects and plant workshops. These objectives
shall be reviewed regularly to address the environmental requirements and
concerns of client companies as well as the community and as improved levels of
performance are achieved, goals are set for further improvement.
This policy statement and its objectives are to be displayed in a prominent
position in all Goodline site and project offices. These displays and
publications serve to demonstrate to our clients, colleagues and the public our
commitment to achieving our objectives and to remind us of our responsibility to
the environment.
